Eddie Murphy Likes his Spice a Little Less Scary
Dreamgirls star Eddie Murphy has gone from being in love and fathering a child with Melanie Brown, a.k.a. Scary Spice, to generally acting like she doesn’t exist.
Murphy, who stars in the upcoming Dreamgirls, was asked about his relationship with Brown – and her pregnancy – during an interview on the Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard that aired Monday. “We’re not together anymore,” says Murphy, 45, in a clip on the show’s Web site. “And I don’t know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir.”
