Jessica Simpson Thinks She’s Smart Enough to Be Her Own Publicist
Jessica Simpson has put the word out that she will be doing her own PR in hopes of regaining the title as America’s Stupidest Sweetheart. It’s no secret that Jess’ PR sitch isn’t so hot right now, so I guess she thinks – or her father thinks – that she’d be better right now handling all of her own press. In an interview with Jane Magazine, Jess says:
“It’s been very emotional. But I am my own publicist right now. I’ve called all the heads of the tabloids. I don’t want anyone else to speak for me now.”
Well, I hope she starts doing better at this job, or she should fire herself. In Jess’ first blunder as her own publicist, she went on Jimmy Kimmel and announced that she will be starring in a movie called Blonde Ambition with Luke Wilson. Only problem is, Luke Wilson ain’t gonna be in that movie. Oh, and her second blunder being the whole “I’m gonna be in ‘Dallas’” thing when, in fact, she iddin’t going to be in “Dallas.” Oops.
