Maura Tierney math session
One thing that’s great about being 19: When you like someone who’s over 40 years old, it’s not as creepy as being over 40, liking someone who’s 19.

I have a post on my blog where I list my top 3 celebrity crushes. I’ll (probably) eventually go through that list here, along with some new additions, but I had to start it off with Mrs. Maura Tierney—my first celebrity crush.
I first saw her on re-runs of Newsradio. She played Lisa Miller: a super-smart producer/broadcaster at a news radio station, who could do complex math equations in her head with ease. I was 14 and she was 35—she was 2.5 times (or 21 years) older than me. My chances: 0%.
Now, she’s 40 and I’m 19. She’s happily married and I’m happily with My Mean Girl.
My girlfriend might not be able to do complex math equations in her head with ease, but she can still tell me on cue, My chances: 0%.
