Nicole Kidman Gets in on Hot Fad: Saving the World
Nicole Kidman paid a visit to Kosovo this past week on her first trip as a UN Ambassador for UNIFEM. Nicole told press:
“I’m here … to learn so that I can help your country at this crucial, crucial time for the future…To meet people, hear their stories and educate myself, and I suppose be a voice for you if you need it.”
“If you need it.” If I had to take a guess, I’d say that Kosovo would be happy if Joe the Drunk from the local bar stood up for the country and tried to educate people – but Nicole Kidman? I would have paid a good hefty amount of Euros to witness one Kosovo-ian go up to Nicole and say, “Nicole. We need your help. Please, fix this! NOW!” Nic seems super cool, though. We know she’ll do a good job…doing whatever it is she is going to do. [Source]
