Hugh Grant Busted For Assault With A Deadly Baked Product

I’m not sure if that is the exact charge pending against Hugh Grant, but he reportedly did something like that to a pap named Ian Whittaker, who promptly filed a complaint and got the English actor arrested.
The above shots via TMZ give us an idea how it all went down, but here’s a clearer picture of the whole thing:
The actor, according to British press reports, allegedly kicked Ian Whittaker three times as Whittaker attempted to photograph him near his west London home. Whittaker alleges Grant then picked up a large carton of baked beans and threw them at the lensman, leaving him “bruised” and “battered” and slathered in the sticky mess.
Whittaker also claims that Grant asked him whether he had kids, and when he answered in the affirmative, said, “I hope they die of f**king cancer.” Grant denies having said that.
It was unclear whether it was really Grant who got busted. All police said is that some 46-year-old chap had been arrested, made bail, and has a court date set next month.
In any case, kicking the crap out of some snapper is bad enough. Dragging kids into this mess by wishing them to die a horrible and painful death through cancer is downright mean, evil, and uncalled for, not necessarily in that order. And you know what’s worse? He wasted a perfectly good tub of baked beans. With all the starving people in the world, that should be a crime.

For goodness sake drop this whole story against poor Hugh. Ian whatever should go away and stop harassing celebrities. I’m on Hugh’s side on this one and why would he say something mean like that when he knew what his mother went through with cancer and he’s got enough compassion to be an ambassador for Marie Curie cancer care. I find it hard to believe that he would say such a thing.

This is old news. Grant wasn’t prosecuted for the ‘crime’ of throwing beans at a pap that was surely asking for it, so whatever.
