Woman Sues “Knocked Up” Producers
A Canadian journalist has sued the producers of the current box office hit, “Knocked Up”, claiming the plot was stolen from her book.
Rebecca Eckler claims there are too many similarities between the movie and her memoir
Knocked Up: Confessions of a Hip Mother-to-Be.
According to globeandmail.com: “The suit alleges that the film about a young woman getting drunk and then pregnant replicates her book detailing her own life story about getting drunk and knocked up at her engagement party.”
Right…because
stories about young, drunk sluts are so unique and original. I’m sure it couldn’t have happened to anyone besides this woman.
