American country music singer Carrie Marie Underwood is the winner of the fourth season of American Idol. Her debut album “Some Hearts” has been the greatest selling country album. Having been nominated for a Grammy award, she has won a number of awards including Billboard Music awards, Dove award, two Academy of country music awards and two Country Music Association awards. Her three music videos stayed at the number 1 position for many weeks. She was nominated for 2006 World Music Awards as World’s Best Selling New Artist.
