A former fashion model and actress, Garcelle Beauvais Nilon is popularly known for her role as Assistant District Attorney Valerie Heywood in the TV Program “NYPD Blue” and Francesca Monroe in “The Jammie Foxs Show”. She started her career as a fashion model at the age of 17 and signed with Ford Models. She has even modeled print ads for Avon, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Clairol and posed for magazines like Essence and Ebony. She walked the ramp for Calvin Klein and Isaac Mizrahi.
