Gerard Butler is a Scottish actor who has appeared in such movies as Dracula 2000, Reign of Fire and Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. He played the title role in The Phantom of the Opera, where he also honed his singing skills. He also plays the Spartan King Leonidas in the movie 300, an adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel about the Battle of Thermopylae.
