Johnny Depp is an American actor well known for playing strange roles. The first major role he played was in a horror film “A Nightmare on Elm Street” playing the role of the heroine’s boyfriend.
He played the lead role in FOX TV television series “21 Jump Street”. This series was a great success and turned Depp into a teen idol. He played the title role in film “Edward Scissorhands”.
He played a major role in Walt Disney Picture’s film “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of Black Pearl”. He was nominated for the Academy award and Best Actor Oscar Award.
