Naomi Watts Pictures

Naomi Watts is an Academy Award-nominated actress known for powerful performances in her movies. She started her acting career in Australia, doing mostly television work. Then she moved to Hollywood, appearing in a number of B-grade productions. Then she got the role in a David Lynch film entitled "Mulholland Drive" and the rest is history. Her performance in the movie was critically acclaimed, and so were subsequent performances in such movies as "Elie Parker" and "21 Grams", for which she earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. She also starred in "The Ring" and its sequel, and the 2005 hit "King Kong".
