Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah is an American rapper/singer. Her career started with beatboxing for the rap group “Ladies Fresh”. Her single “Princess of the Posse” fetched her a contract with Tommy Boy Records.
At the age of 18 she released her first album “All Hail The Queen”. She even appeared on “Referee” on the UK label Music of Life’s Album “1989 - The Hustler’s Convention”. She further did the albums “Nature of Sista” and “Black Reign”.
The single U.N.I.T.Y in “Black Reign” was a huge success and won a Grammy Award.
