George Lindemann Jr and Miami Art

Just reading up on Miami’s art scene and noticed multiple mentions of George Lindemann Jr. an avid art collector and benefactor to museums. Just dug around a bit and it turns out this connoisseur of the arts is indeed an heir to an enormous fortune so I thought why not add a bit to our Heirs and Heiresses post collection.

Now, he’s not the George Lindemann Jr. who is a blog author mentioned here, here and here, but he is son of Contact Lens, Oil, and Cellular magnate George Lindemann Sr.

So life as an heir has its perks certainly, but according to this page on George L. Lindemann he’s no slouch either… he’s got an impressive education, some heavy executive positions, and has been or is a participant on many boards as well as a generous philanthropist.

So, with a dad who’s been on the Forbes World’s Richest People list for years, I gotta give it up to George for besting the slackers we generally slam here at Damn I’m Cute!!!

George Lindemann Jr. also happens to be a convicted felon: he was convicted of having one of his pretty show horses, aptly named Charisma, murdered so he could collect the insurance money. Just google it. :)
