Jordin Sparks Too Fat to be American Idol?
According to MeMe Roth from the National Action Against Obesity, Jordin Sparks is overweight and should not have become the American Idol. In an interview with Neil Cavuto on Fox News, the seemingly underweight Roth argues that skinnier people (like Blake Lewis) should win such competitions because they would be better role models.
Interesting perspective; since we don’t have enough anorexic role models that little girls could emulate.

um….having some FIT would be a good idea….that means not too big or too thin. being overweight IS bad for your health(just as being under weight is). it’s great to be comfortable with who you are but, unhealthy is unhealthy no matter what way you spin it.

That woman is off her f***ing rocker… Jordin is a 17 year old girl, she is beyond talented and should be rewarded accordingly. Yes, it is un-healthy to be morbidly obese, but this is not Jordin. Where are the comments about how it is good to have a “normal” girl as a role model for our young female (and male) children to look at. I think they get plenty of images of skin and bone on television shows, movies, bill boards, and magazines. Anorexia kills too.

that woman makes me want to slap her. You can be unhealthy being skinny too, I mean whats her deal? Some people honestly can not BE skinny, its just not in them, sure they can slim down but damn. Im really frusterated watching that I cant even think straight. To be healthy you do not have to be a size 3 or 5 or even 7, Jordin doesnt look overweight, she doesnt look unhealthy she looks very proportional and put together, she actually looks probably alot more fit than that Roth nut. Jordin is a great role model, oh my goodness I just want to slap her.

Oh that MeMe bitch just pushes my buttons. I hate her so much for saying Jordin Sparks is “overweight,” “obese,” and “unhealthy.” To me, Jordin is absolutely gorgeous and amazingly beautiful. I too am 6′0 feet tall and have a large frame and big bones. However, I am an Olympic Weightlifter and have tons of muscle on me. Am I fat? Goodness no, but I am the size of Jordin, I even look like her. But I am strong, toned, in my eyes, not fat at all. So the next time a stupid bitch says someone is fat when they clearly aren’t, tell them to shove a burger up their ass and leave you the hell alone.

What’s weight got to do with anything. Ah…it’s frustrating always bumping into the superficial types who only focus on the looks. As someone mentioned above, skinny people can be unhealthy too. Jordin is just fine.

Jordin Sparks, is a beautiful, gifted, talented girl. For she should not be judged by her appearances on the outside! When did looks on the outside matter? and when shall people look at people as who they are in the INSIDE and NOT the OUTSIDE??? Well for my being here is Jordin keep doing what you doing and know that looks are little things that should be concerned about but most importantly to see you within yourself and your talent. Look at Linsey Lohan and Hillary Duff, two beautiful girls who went skinny and now they look like aliens! JORDIN SPARKS DESERVED TO WIN AMERICAN IDOL AND SHE’S NOT FAT! She is beautiful and an amazing singer.Her curves are wonderful and she is my role model.This is what the women is our society should look like,not a stereotypical 90lbs girl.I LOVE YOU JORDIN!
