Keith Urban Goes into Rehab
Keith Urban has gone into rehab for alcohol abuse. This is the country crooner’s second stint in el rehabo, with the first time being in ’98. The first time was for alcohol and drug abuse, so I guess this stint is better in some respects. Urban released a statement to the press saying:
“I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me…One can never let one’s guard down on recovery and I’m afraid that I have…With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome.”
I’m fairly certain that this turn of events has nothing to do with statements Nicole made last week to People Magazine in reference to sexual faithfulness being less important than emotional/mental faithfulness. I’m really rooting for these guys.
