Someone Hacked Paris’ MySpace Page
MSNBC is reporting that Paris Hilton has, once again, been hacked. This time it is her MySpace page, which has no personal information of Hilton’s, but…these MySpace-ers are nuts and not to be effed with. Apparently, a bunch of people on Hilton’s “friends” list on her MySpace page were sent an email from Paris saying they had won an expense paid trip to come meet her. Then, trickery ensues. They click on a link. Said link takes them to a survey. Lots more clicking. Then, a note that says there are only 20 prizes left. Click. Click. Click. It does not say at what point the “friends” realized they were being spammed, or if they ever realized they were being spammed. One enraged ex-“friend” of Paris’ told MSNBC:
“The survey takes forever to fill out!… I sure hope Paris is treating her best-friend-again Nicole Richie better than her MySpace friends.”I know, it’s so sad. Let’s move on. Hilton’s camp (a.k.a. Elliot Mintz) said that Paris had nothing to do with this email, that someone must have gotten a hold of her “friends” list, or hacked her, or is conspiring to ruin her life, or … something.
