Wesley Snipes Steals $12 Million from the Government
Heard about the sequel to White Men Can’t Jump? It’s called Black Men Can’t Get Away with Tax Evasion. CNN.com reported that Wesley Snipes was indicted on Tuesday on eight counts of tax fraud, and specifically cited for trying to cheat the government out of $12 million dollars in faux refund claims. There’s also some unsealed indictment in Florida for tax fraud – let’s see what cat gets let out of the bag with that one. So, officials have issued a warrant for Snipe’s arrest, but…dum dum dum, his whereabouts are unknown. Wesley, oh Wesley…why in Blade’s name would you try to steal $12 million? Seriously, it’s not like tweaking the taxes and submitting, like, $200 for “business expenses.” I hope his fancy shmancy lawyers are better than his fancy shmancy accountants.
