Nip/Tuck - “Diana Lubey”
What’s up party peeps. So, some of you that may be following my Nip/Tuck rundowns may have noticed that there hasn’t been one this week. That was unfortch due to some unforeseen TiVo problemos and Thanksgiving. Then it started feeling too late to do a full rundown, so I’m just going to throw out some key plot points for you so that next week you’re not all like, “whoa, what’s that all about, huh?”
First and foremosta, Christian and Michelle are engaged. No, I’m not kidding. Christian proposed to Michelle, and she of course wanted to say yes but instead did a “let’s live together first.” She’s a smart cookie to do that, because it’s pretty obv that Christian is going to flip out/back out/cheat out of this. How do we know? Well, the ghosts of ex-shtups past keep appearing around the apartment in a bizarre sentimental fashion telling Christian how incompetent he is at relationships and how this will never work. He doubts himself, but wants to give it the honest yeehaw. So he puts the apartment on the market, moves out, moves in with Michelle, and whammo, the makings of a delicious plot line.
Second and secondmosta, Michelle is letting James use the McNamara/Troy offices to perform her kidney removals…after hours of course. This, we all know, will turn into a huge cluster-f once Christian finds out Michelle is doing this.
One way or the other I predict an end to said engagement…or marriage depending on how far it goes. It’s not going to be pretty, and that’s the way we like it.
