Guy Ritchie Not So Willing to Adopt All of Malawi
According to Page Six, Guy Ritchie finally got some balls and stood up to his wife, Madonna, in order to put to a halt what threatens to be an African baby adopting spree.
MADONNA is more gung-ho to take in Third World urchins than her husband, Guy Ritchie. Now that she’s gearing up to adopt a baby girl from Malawi, where she acquired baby David earlier this year, it’s putting a strain on their six-year marriage. “They’ve had a difficult time. [David] is beautiful and Guy is very good with him. But I don’t think he’d want to adopt again,” Guy’s dad, John Ritchie, told London’s Daily Mail. The dispute came to light two weeks ago when the couple squabbled during dinner at Cecconi’s. The Mail reports, “Diners overheard Ritchie attacking the singer for being ’so controlling’ while she appeared troubled as she played with her food.”
My guess is the Ritchie’s will have a Malawian daughter within months, and Guy will be sleeping on the couch. [Source]
