Janet Jackson’s rep has released a statement from the singer on her brother, Michael Jackson’s, death.
“The star is saddened by the lost and is currently on a flight from London to L.A. to be with her family,” says the rep.
I’m sure we’ll be hearing more from the family on their beloved Michael as the days go on. This is still such a shock to all, our thoughts are with the Jackson family in their time of grief.

Yes unfortunately, Michael Jackson has passed away. Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest Thursday afternoon and was rushed to the emergency room. When paramedics arrived at Jackson’s home, he had no pulse and they never got a pulse back. Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate Jackson but they had no luck.
Farrah Fawcett passed away Thursday morning in California. She was surrounded by family and friends at St. Joseph Health Center in Los Angeles. The Charlie’s Angels alum bravely battled cancer for the last several years. She was 62 years old. R.I.P

Television personality and Tonight Show veteran Ed McMahon died June 23 at age 86. He passed away at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles; he’d been receiving treatment for pneumonia for the past several weeks. The announcer, game show host, and sometime actor was best known as Johnny Carson’s right-hand man on The Tonight Show from 1962 to 1992, but he began using his stentorian voice to make a living as a 15-year-old bingo caller and carnival barker. Before he could make his way to Hollywood, though, WWII and the Korean conflict intervened, turning the Los Angeles native into a fighter and test pilot for the U.S. Marines. After retiring from active duty, he returned home to L.A., where he got his big break in 1956, pairing with Carson on the game show Who Do You Trust? When Carson decamped for his Tonight Show berth, McMahon went along, remaining Carson’s sidekick for the next 30 years, announcing the comic in his signature “Heeeeeeere’s Johnny!” and punctuating Carson’s jokes with catchphrases in the making, a booming “Yes!” or “You are correct, sir!”In February 2009, it was revealed that McMahon had been hospitalized for a month, suffering from bone cancer. He leaves a legacy as a prolific performer. R.I.P

A plea bargain has been accepted in the assault case against Chris Brown. Brown will require to spend 180 days in a labor domestic violence program and get five years probation for felony assault. If he violates his probation in any way, he’ll get four years in prison. Hopefully he does violate his probation and gets his ass kicked in jail, where he belongs! Like a dumb-ass, Rihanna did not appear in court and did not testify.

Officials in Dubai are not pleased with Paris, who is in the city filming another season of her My New BFF reality show, which will broadcast around the Middle East. Although she is in the United Arab Emirates, where wearing revealing clothes or acting provocative is strictly against the law, she donned a bikini anyway and proceeded to prance around for pictures. The best part is that producers of her show warned her that she should be careful about how she conducts herself while on the trip.
“Paris had made a big public speech, saying how much she loved the Middle East and respected its culture. But the following day she was prancing around on the beach in her bikini and posing provocatively,” an insider dished to the media. Especially because “bosses warned her Western tourists have been jailed for flouting the rules.” Even TV producers had banned her from wearing a bikini while in Dubai to respect the customs of the country’s people.
