Unfortunately, talent has no say in many of the ventures that celebrities put themselves into. Case in point, Lindsay Lohan. Granted, she’s a stylist pop-tart. In an effort to go out on an actual date, Paris Hilton and her beau, Doug Reinhardt caught a screening of Sundance sensation, ’Precious’.

Not quite sure how Doug felt about the movie, but Paris tweeted this about the film:

“Just saw the movie Precious It was amazing, so heartbreaking, incredible acting. A Must See…The movie ‘Precious’ better win some Oscars. The best movie I’ve seen in a long time. Such a sad and emotional film. I Love Precious. Mariah did a fantastic job in the film, I was really impressed with her acting skills.”

The paparazzi are an unique breed of individuals. It takes a special kind of person to stalk and photograph celebrities everyday of their lives. But like every job, it’s never worth your health…or in this case, your face.

Some celebrities like Mike Tyson need not be stalked and photographed, however.

The former heavyweight champion was arrested last night at LAX, for punching a pap in the face, who allegedly got too close to the ex-boxer. An onlooker claims, “there was blood everywhere.” Tyson was booked for misdemeanor battery and his bail has been set at $20,000.

Perhaps Tyson should get back in the ring, on last time! Sike!

Last night, the Christie Auction House in New York sold an Andy Warhol original of the late Michael Jackson. The pieces’ estimated worth was between $500,000 to $700,000, according to Christie’s auctioneers. However, the silk screen masterpiece sold for $812,500 to an anonymous collector. The portrait depicts MJ with yellow hair and his infamous red leather jacket.

Not many people know that Beyonce’s hubby has a thing for British bands…and people. (He’s the Godfather of Coldplay front man, Chris Martin, and Gwyneth Paltrow’s children…)

With that being said his hip-hop highness just signed indie, Brit band The Ting-Tings to his Roc Nation Record Label.

“Jay is hoping to lend his production skills to some of the new material,” dished a source. “The Staccato rhythmic style of The Ting Tings sits well with what he does best, so that was the attraction. Jay can make them one of the biggest British bands in America.” 

As if we didn’t know already…

Does J.Lo really need anymore money? Seriously?

I can understand suing for principal, but for $10 million? Really?

Jennifer Lopez must have quite a juicy history with ex-husband, Ojani Noa, because she filed a complaint with the LA Supreme Court citing breach of contract, invasion of privacy and publication of private facts stemming around Noa and Meyer’s planned film, “How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story.”

Granted, Ojani is foul for his attempted antics, who seemingly needs profits himself, but does she really believe he even has that kind of money to cough up in legal actions? Come on now, J.Lo.

Our favorite eccentric odd couple took a big step in their relationship; Katy introduced her guy to the parents! Ordinarily, there’s always some tension when meeting the parents of someone you love.  

However when those parents happen to be bonafide Christians with a very strict moral, the tension gets to be overwhelming.

But Russell handled himself accordingly:

“I’ve had the privilege of meeting Katy’s family. I always get along with spiritual people. For me the things that happen on a higher level are more important than transient things.”

He goes on to gush about his leading lady: “When one is in a relationship one respects the restrictions that imposes. That’s the point of being in a relationship… I’ve been really happy in the last couple of months. All I know is that I have met someone who I like and makes me happy. I am very much fulfilled. It’s not everyday that Australia is graced with the opportunity to see an elaborate Britney Spears concert. And in light of such a rarity, the Aussies expected a top-notch performance from the renowned pop diva.

But what they got was a lacklustre performance of stiff choreography and lip-syncing.

Now we as U.S citizens know all too well that Britney lip-syncs. That’s what she does-that’s who she is. However, we think that $200-$1500 ticket purchasers’ disenchantment is kind of justified. I’m assuming a disclaimer would have been nice.

According to Australian reports, as many as a third of concert attendees walked out, demanding a full-refund, after the second song, and a vast majority “booed” her.
