Christina Aguilera Disses Lady Gaga! Oh Snap!
Who doesn’t like a little cat fight?
Apparently Christina Aguilera has been accused by the media (Perez) for stealing Lady Gaga’s “style”. Sometimes I don’t believe the shit that Perez Hilton says on his site. And this is one of those times. Why would Christina steal Gaga’s style when Christina has been doing her OWN thang for years! Sure, Christina hasn’t always looked flattering, but the bitch doesn’t have to steal ideas from Gaga.
In a recent interview, Christina told L.A. Times what her thoughts where on Lady Gaga:
You know, that’s funny that you mention that. This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn’t sure. I really don’t spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect.
Exactly. I don’t know why Gaga gets a lot of fucking attention. I couldn’t even tell if she was a man or a woman when I first saw her. She looks like a man.
Sure she’s got like ONE good song out but PLEASE- Christina does her own shit and doesn’t need to be compared to these one-hit-wonders.

Man you guys need to CHILL OUT. Personally, I doubt she purposely stole the look….because lets be honest, don’t you think she would have realised that people would notice? It’s quite possible that she didn’t know who gaga was. But perhaps her stylist did. Perhaps her stylist showed her some clothes etc, and christina liked the look, but did not know that someone had already made them her trademark. Now I’m trying to blame someone I don’t even know, but i dont think christina would copy on purpose because that was be e very stupid thing to do in terms of her career and credibility.
Besides, without slanting on how gaga looks, I’ve read some interviews, and I’ve never heard of a celebrity who loved themselves that much. She takes credit for EVERYTHING to do with her success, although it is impossible that no one has helped her. And perhaps Christina shouldn’t have said what she did, but I think she was just gettin pissed off with everyone comparing her when it was a genuine accident.

Aguilera is the prettier one, for certain. But dissing other people in the industry at the age of 28 is a little immature. If she was confident in her abilities, she wouldn’t have to. Personally, I love Lady Gaga. Not for her looks, or her style; but for her music. Aguilera is alright; has never bothered me but I don’t much fancy the crooning types. It doesn’t matter who’s been around longer - Lady Gaga can’t help it if she wasn’t born five years earlier. Here’s an idea: try listening to some real music by some real people. As far as new talent goes, bands like kings of leon are an excellent place to start expanding yourself out of disgusting media-fabricated standards. Bands like U2 which have been around forever spread messages of hope, world peace and humantarian cooperation are truly the types of artists that deserve your attention.
Unfortunately, the music industry has become a hypothetical playground for ex-strippers and wanna be porn stars. There used to be a sense of class in this area, but it has since died because of people supporting the prior. I guarantee anyone out there that once these losers are no longer allowed on TV or the radio, society will suddenly spike in confidence. Young girls would no longer strive to be whores, and there might be a return to “soul” music. Music with meaning, touches your heart instead of your genitals.
Stop conforming people. Ditch the skinny blonde fake ideals that have been pounded into your head since you were a child. Examine your own life and what brings it meaning, and I guarantee lady shithead has nothing to do with any of it. Listen to music that sparks your interests not your sex drive. Music is truly a form of art. It disturbs me when fuck ups like Gaga claim to be performing artists when they are useless wastes who fell off the pole.
So c’mon real people, grab a guitar, or drums, or a bass, learn how to play, let what’s in your heart out, and help puts dogs like GaGa back in the pound. Personally, I find Gaga to be an assault on the senses. She has NO talent and if you can even call it a fashion sense, well, she’s totally lacking that too. Electronic enhancement i recon…..
Most artists spend hours making an album that only goes for 1 hour if ya lucky…. its cause they record so slowely to get every pitch of the song right. And ofcourse the equipment plays a big part. Ive heard LadyGaGa sing live too, shes not that impressive live. But i know there a a few things that cause this for singers sometimes, -Bad equipment-Not set up properly-sound check didnt pass for there voice….
From what ive noticed LadyGaGa has been strugglin to sing live…. With more practise hopefully she’ll get better huh….

i couldn’t agree more, there should be some difference in the live music versus recorded, who wants to watch “lip syncing”…… but i know there are ways around singing a song to personalize it …. drag out some parts, and a “oooh” or something… Xtina does it in concert, its how we know she’s singin’ to us.
But bad singing is a problem from artists…. i dunno if “Lady GaGa” is bad at singing live…. i saw some video’s of her live, and she didn’t quite hit the notes… i was a little disappointed…. but if i had to sing the same songs over and over like they have had too from all the promo gigs/concerts/appearances… i’d be bored too and maybe not do that great a job the more i have to sing it…..
I’m tryin to be understanding, but a lazy artist will probably go broke, so i hope she’s either getting live lessons or she puts more effort in….
Or it could just be back equipments….. who knows, lol

I’ll only post here once. About the Christina vs. Gaga thing: I’m vaguely of a fan of both their music. Not my favorites though. Their styles are really different. I don’t think its a big deal that Christina said she’d never heard of the other one, because at the time she was sort of new.
I have noticed some ugly things about both their personalities. Though Christina has outgrown a lot of it. Gaga’s seems bratty, and self centered. she wants to be an artist but parades herself around like a centerfold. Actually a lot of the pop singer do. But she seems to get really defensive when asked if her apparence distracts from her music. I wont take a pop-singer seriously, ever, because they walk around with their asses and tits hanging out, and we’re expected to what? respect them as artists? They cannot have it both ways. Either you’re about the music, or the image, not both. Some artist are all show, and their music is mixed, altered and put together by producers, and the pop-singer’s contribution is limited to doing coreography and learning the words, but most of the work was done by others. i dont know if this is the case with all of them, but generally thats what happens, with pop-singers. All in all, they are something to listen to in the car. But some here are getting very passionate about what is basically a flash in the pan.
I scrolled through the posts and a lot of people getting really worked up over nothing. The funny thing is that there are a few people on here who keep saying “get a life” to each other and yet they seem to post more than everyone else. (there are these 2 who are especially persistent, but i won’t name names. But you know who you are) This article is from November of ‘08. it says so on the top, yet these 2 have been writing from the beginning of ‘09 and have done so on a regular basis. Does everyone see the irony in fighting a pointless arguement, meticulously checking comments and criticizing everyone’s post? and then turning around to say “get a life???” It looks like you’ve both appointed yourselves unofficial monitors of this page.
Nothing posted here has changed my mind about any topic, I’m sure thats the case for most people, yet some try to convince others to see things their way instead. Why? Do the opinions of reader’s of this obscure posting make a difference? I doubt either of the pop-singers lost any fans over anything written here. What are you their publicist?

First off, this article must be rediculously out-of-date? One hit wonder? Wow, you couldn’t even wait until after her first hit started getting popular before commenting on her career? That was smart. Especially since now she’s got about 7 singles out and it hasn’t even been a year.
Secondly, just because Christina was famous first, doesn’t give her the right to be a complete bitch. I think her comments about Lady Gaga were tasteless, un-classy and shows that she can’t handle the fame of a fellow music artists. This isn’t the first feud she’s had with other singers. And Lady Gaga had nothing but nice things to say about her in return. What a sweetheart. And Christina, you’re a bitter old cow. Never heard of her because you don’t go on the internet? Yeah, so I suppose you also never listen to the radio, watch TV, read a magazine or a newspaper? Right. Nice try.

Lady gaga is a bitch in all ways. I met her once and asked for her autograph and she was just like “Get the fuck away from me dirty bitch” and I’m like uhhhh scuse me? Seriously, how can ANYONE dispute Christina’s voice? People who say it’s “average” OBVIOUSLY have never heard her sing- live or otherwise.
She has been around a long time, and has always had her own “style” and back a few years she was getting flack just like Lady Gaga is now.. the stuff Christina wore isn’t that much different, in the sense of how risque it was, it just wasn’t as “out there”.
I love them BOTH, and I think they’re both great entertainers, but ppl hatin’ on em and pitting them against eachother is bullshit. Talkin about how they each look like a man or whatever.. it’s just stupid. Ppl talkin’ shit when in reality you don’t know either of them personally!

Why was this article even allowed to be put on the internt? It sounds like a 15 year old wrote it. FYI: When the writer of this, and Christina Aguilera, pull out the “man or a woman” comments it shows what the problem really is; jealousy. I am not one to normally throw that card but in this case, it is the truth. Maybe the writer is an avid fan of Christina but if you read Christina’s comment and then read Gaga’s response (who is several years YOUNGER than Aguilera), Gaga’s is, by far, more mature and articulate than Aguilera’s comment.

This is a waste of time. And all these people talking about Lady Gaga being a “one-hit” and just jealous that Christina has turned to a trashy, bitter woman. Being a one-hit wonder is actually a good thing. If Lady Gaga can get almost as much publicity in one song that Christina can get in 10 years, it just proves people really love Lady Gaga. Gaga didn’t accuse Christina of copying her style,Perez did. I used to be a fan of Christina but not she looks disguisting and trashy and all of her songs suck! Everyone says “Christina just had a baby so she has an excuse to wear the catsuit.” NO! That’s a reason for her to NOT wear the catsuit.
Even the outfit copy from Gaga, it probably wasn’t her decision and she didn’t know it was a copy. That’s her manager’s choice. Besides, all outfits come from somewhere. They’re all based off of something. Lady Gaga’s are just a more unique less known something.
They should just lay off of it.
