And Now, For The Nominations That Really Matter…
With seven nominations, Sharon Stone’s Basic Instinct 2 and the Wayans Brothers’ Little Man lead the pack of films that are being recognized by the world’s most credible award-giving body, The Razzies.
Both contenders for Worst Picture, they face stiff competition from the Wicker Man remake, M. Night Shyamalan’s Lady in the Water and Bloodrayne by Uwe Boll, considered by many to be the worst film director alive.
Garnering one notable nomination are Sharon Stone’s breasts. Yes, her 70-year-old breasts are the frontrunners for the Worst Screen Couple Award, and I believe they have a lock on this one. Not even the Wayans Brothers or other nominees in the category can give them a run for their money. Might as well give them the Razzie now.
And please, take this post seriously because I’m not trying to be funny or sarcastic or anything. It’s the absolute truth. The Razzies are the most awaited awards of the season, and they’ll be giving them out on February 24, a day before those Academy snobs hand theirs down.
