Andre Agassi Mistakes Wife For Tennis Ball
Retired tennis superstar Andre Agassi hit his wife, fellow legend Steffi Graf, with a racket to the face, inflicting a cut that required three stitches.
It was all accidental of course. The couple was playing Sunday at a fundraiser that followed the U.S. Clay Court Championships final when a follow-through by Agassi, who was holding his racket in his left hand, struck Graf right in the kisser. He was, by the way, holding hands with his wife while they were playing, hence the accident.
Awwww, how sweet. Showing to the world how strong and steady their marriage is by engaging in PDA while playing, then popping whatever romantic bubble they created with what could only be a very painful whack to the face. Remember that Agassi was one power hitter during his heyday, and Graf just had that point driven home to her face-literally.
Sweet, but kinda stupid.
