Angelina Jolie Adopts Vietnamese Boy
Angelina Jolie’s adoption of a 3-year-old Vietnamese boy is now official.
The actress took custody of her newest purchase, er, child named Pax Thien Jolie on Thursday, but will have to remain in Vietnam for a week or so as the kid’s American passport is still being processed. Angelina went to Vietnam with Maddox, the first of Angelina’s adoptions. Partner Brad Pitt, however, couldn’t make it as he was shooting a movie in LA.
Angelina’s newest kid was abandoned at a hospital as a baby and had been living at the Tam Binh orphanage outside Ho Chi Minh City.
Now he’s got the chance to mess up his own life when he grows up, as many sons and daughters of famous moms and dads have done, and are still doing. But at least he now has got a choice, doesn’t he?
Let’s see: Angelina has Maddox from Cambodia, Zahara Marley from Ethiopia, and now Pax Thien from Vietnam. Three countries down, 242 more to go.
