Brad Pitt As He-Man?
As if the 1987 original starring
Dolph Lundgren
and a young
Courtney Cox
wasn’t bad enough, another live-action film based on the ‘80s cartoon “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” is said to be in the works, this time with
Brad Pitt
as the sword-wielding and tiger-riding superhero. Legendary Pictures, who gave us ‘Superman Returns’, is at the forefront of the project.
Should Pitt be too busy chasingA source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “They are very keen on Brad for the role. He will have to bulk up though - he is very fit but not to ‘He-Man’ proportions.”
He-Man - the most powerful man in the universe - is a sword-wielding hero with superhuman powers. The original cartoon series was one of the first TV shows to inspire a range of action figures, made by Mattel.
He-Man and his heroic friends defended the world of Eternia and the secrets of Castle Greyskull from the evil powers of Skeletor.
Angelina Jolie
all over the world buying babies and turn the role down, they’re thinking about getting “300” star
Gerard Butler
to play “The Most Powerful Man In The Universe”. Now they’re talking. What would be a casting coup though would be
Marc Anthony
playing
Skeletor
. That way, the producers won’t have to spend much on special effects. Source

If you ask me getting Gerard Butler for that part would be the smartest thing…BP is an overexposed henpecked done for actor! Besides he has a long way to go to be as hunky as GB! Sorry Brad…your days are OVER!!!
