Chelsea Handler and Ted Harbert Break Up!

The news hit airwaves not long ago that talk show host Chelsea Handler and longtime beau and TV boss Ted Harbert have separated. The couple had been together for about three years and seemed to be quite happy from the tidbits about vacations, eating, and parties that Chelsea would interject into her show. For example, while interviewing Giulianna and Bill Rancic as they promoted their new reality show, the three impersonated how Ted danced like somewhat of a creepy old man. Handler also mentioned a vacation the now ex-couple once took when a round table discussion revolved around Ibeza. Small comments like this would lead one to believe the pair were truly happy. Apparently this is not the case since the newly single Chelsea has reportedly requested Harbert vacate her living quarters. According to the New York Daily News, the 34 year-old has asked her now ex-boyfriend who is 20 years her senior to stay in a hotel in the Hollywood are. Up until this the two shared a home in LA during the course of their relationship. What does this mean for the show? When contacted for comment on how things will play out between the Comcast executive (who is also Handler’s direct supervisor) and the blonde comedian, Chelsea’s reps refused to respond. I guess in the meantime we will no longer be hearing her refer to her “Silver Fox” as she often did.
