Cops Busta Rhymes For DUI
In other drunk-related news, rapper Busta Rhymes can now be added to the growing list of celebrities who are stupid enough to drink and drive and then get caught.
According to TMZ, cops initially flagged the 2006 GMC Yukon Denali the rapper was driving in New York because the SUV had “excessively tinted windows.” But they ended up arresting Rhymes, whose real name is Trevor Smith, when they picked up “a strong odor of alcohol” on his breath and subsequently issued a sobriety test, which, of course, he flunked. Rhymes was booked for driving while impaired at the Midtown North Police Precinct, but has yet to be arraigned.
But he need not worry about getting jail time. Eve, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Mel Gibson, Vivica Fox etc. all have been busted for drinking and driving, and no one has served any real time in the clink yet.
