David Copperfield rape investigation
Illusionist David Copperfield is being investigated by the FBI after a Seattle woman accused him of raping her in the Bahamas.
FBI agents seized cash and items in a raid on Copperfield’s Las Vegas warehouse.
Among the items confiscated were a computer hard drive and a digital camera memory chip.
Copperfield’s attorney says, “Unfortunately false allegations are all too often made against famous individuals.
“We are confident the investigation will conclude favorably. We are in touch with the investigators and are respecting the confidentiality of the investigation.”
