David Letterman Talks About Sarah Palin’s Daughter
David Letterman: ”The toughest part of [Palin’s] visit was keeping Eliot Spitzer away from her daughter.”
Sarah’s husband Todd has released this statement: “Any ‘jokes’ about raping my 14-year-old are despicable. Alaskans know it and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too.”
Sarah: “Laughter incited by sexually-perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is not only disgusting, but it reminds us some Hollywood/NY entertainers have a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands – that acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone’s daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others.”
If you watch the YouTube video, Letterman never said anything about rape! He was making fun of Sarah and Eliot Spitzer. Besides, Sarah Palin needs to shut her mouth; Alaska is the worse state in the nation as far is protecting women from sexual crimes! She shouldn’t have paraded her whole family around if she didn’t want them to be a target. Go cry about it!

i agree! letterman didnt say anything bad, its a joke, and it wasnt about rape or prostitution

An adult male that has sex with a 14 year old girl is guilty of statatory rape. The law recognizes that a minor is unable to grant full and informed consent in such a situation. Apparently you don’t.

Letterman also made a comment about making sure that A-Rod didn’t knock-up her daughter — again, though, he didn’t name the 14-year old daughter (he could have meant the new mom) and it was primarily a slam on A-Rod.

What would letterman be without his jokes? I wouldn’t care to watch his shows if he didn’t joke around.

This is absolutely not a joke and not funny. We have a country that is filled with women (and some men) recovering from sexual abuse before they were even up to 16 years old. And it can take years, a lot of therapy, a great courage to recover from such a situation. Letterman is simply part of the male privileged group that enjoy using as much power and control as they can get with.
