Drew Barrymore Experimented With Canadian, Italian and Found Both Nationalities Lacking
At least it lasted longer than her marriage to (Canadian) Tom Green. Drew Barrymore and boy-toy rocker Fabrizio Moretti have called it quits after five years of apparently not so blissful union.
I thought these two were a pleasant, low-key pair, but Drew, don’t feel like you need to get back together on my account. It’s your life. I suppose. [A source close to the actress tells Us Weekly, “Drew said they needed some time off.”
A friend of Moretti’s confirms, “Fab is now living back in his old apartment.”
Rumors of a rift began in February 2005 when Barrymore was noticeably absent from Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas’ wedding, and a few months later the couple got into a very public argument in Santa Monica, Calif.
A friend of Barrymore’s explains, “He’s younger, and she’s more worldly. He doesn’t like the Hollywood stuff. He doesn’t get her friends.”
Although it looks like the relationship is over, there is still some hope of a reconciliation.
The source adds, “She broke up with him twice before this. This is exactly what happened last time they took a break.”
