Eric Bana Survives Car Crash
“Hulk” star Eric Bana just survived a car crash while he was competing at a car race in Australia Saturday. Bana and his co-driver emerged unscathed from the wreckage of the restored 1973 Ford XB Coupe they were driving after it ran right smack into some trees during the Targa Tasmania rally. Here’s how it went down according to the actor:
“We had been having a great day until then… But I misjudged a tight left-hander and we went in a little too fast - the car understeered off the road and got onto the gravel and we went into a couple of trees at a fairly low speed. The car is a little battered on the driver’s side which is a real shame, as many hours had been spent reshaping its original panels to get it just right. It’s a real shame, but that’s motor racing.”
Bana is one lucky sonofagun. Not too many people come out of a car crash, much less a race car crash, and live to tell about it. He must have one really big horseshoe right up his ass.
