Halle Berry Tried To Gas Herself
Oscar winner Halle Berry has revealed to a magazine that she once tried to kill herself over a failed marriage.
In an interview with Parade, Berry said her first marriage, to baseball star David Justice, was so messed-up she actually tried to gas herself in her car.
“I was sitting in my car, and I knew the gas was coming, when I had an image of my mother finding me,” she says.
“She sacrificed so much for her children, and to end my life would be an incredibly selfish thing to do. It was all about a relationship. My sense of worth was so low,” Berry said.
“I promised myself I would never be a coward again.” [Source]
She also described her marriage to singer Eric Benet, as “really horrific”, saying they were in sex rehab after one year. She didn’t say if she tried to off herself because of this one though.
It really boggles the mind how someone as gorgeous as Halle ends up with douchebags who drive her close to the edge. Here’s hoping Gabriel Aubry, the model the once-homeless actress is currently dating and is planning to have a kid with, doesn’t drive her over it.
