Hilary Duff Eats Death Threats For Breakfast
Hilary Duff was in Canada yesterday promoting her latest CD on a TV show when some guy in the crowd outside the studio shouted death threats towards the singer/actress, and police promptly responded by forcing the madman to make out with the concrete pavement. All this took place while MuchMusic host Leah Miller was interviewing Duff on “Live@Much”.
According to an eyewitness, the unidentified man vowed to kill Duff, prompting several police officers to tackle him.
“The cops slammed his face into the pavement,” said photographer Todd Gillis, who witnessed the incident. “He was bleeding.”
Hilary must really have gotten used to death threats by now, because after the troublemaker was taken down, she went on with the interview and later even stood on a platform just meters away from where the nutjob was apprehended, and made fans happy by posing for pictures and signing autographs. Some idiot stalked and threatened to kill her last year, so there’s nothing new here for Duff. Maybe the guy in Canada just hated her latest CD or something.
