It’s Nominations Season And Some People Are Happier Than Others
The Screen Actor’s Guild has just released their noms. Notable: Leonardo DiCaprio is a double nominee and the casts of Little Miss Sunshine, The Departed, and Dreamgirls — my three fave movies of the year — were nominated for best ensemble awards. Notably absent: The Wire — the best and most ignored show on tv, period — and Beyonce, who is probably experiencing Deja Vu (get it?), since she was also snubbed earlier this week when the Oscars removed her from eligibility in the best original song category.
