Jamie Lynn Spears giving up her baby
Jamie Lynn Spears will give her baby to her mother so she can focus on her career. The 16-year-old announced last month that she’s pregnant.
According to a close source:
“After several weeks of personal soul searching and talks and discussions with her mother Jamie Lynn reluctantly agreed that giving up the baby is the right thing to do. Lynne [her mother] says Jamie doesn’t understand the life long consequences of having a baby.”
“She still wants her daughter to be able to be a teenager, go to parties, hang out with friends and have a career. So she’ll take the front seat of caring for the baby and take the pressure off her daughter.
“Lynne is convinced that having a baby on her hip will not help Jamie Lynn’s future in the business and she’s expecting her daughter to pick up where she left off as soon as the baby is born.”
You’ve gotta be kidding! Lynn Spears doesn’t quite have a stellar parenting record to begin with. Now she’s going to screw up another kid?
What the deal with the Spears sisters? Neither one of them seem interested in keeping their kids.

I think Jamie Lynn Spears is doing the right thing. Firt of all my siblings think she is a good role model.But when they heardb that she was pregnant they were so sad.They want to see her in the show”zoey101″. Please Jamie Lynn Spears give up your baby or give to the orphinage, its the best. You dont have. I wouldn’t, i would if it was for my career and fans.

I think that it is a selfish thing to do. So she can be a teenager? Well she should have thought of that before getting prego. She and her sister are losers. I feel bad for the kids, Many young ppl looked up to Brittney and Jaime Lynn and it is sad to see what they have done with their “stardom”. When you are a Celebrity you have to live in the spot light and be a role model if that is what you portray! When B.Spears came out she was sweet and a young pop star, now a crazy hoe. J.Spears was on Nickaloden! That is a channel for YOUNG kids, now they now that their role model J.L is a mom, what makes them stop?

Although I do not agree with the fact that Jamie Lynn Spears is having sex at such a young age, that still does not make her a bad role model and person. She’s a young teen who goes through the same things as any other normal teenager…she is allowed to make mistakes. There are many young female teens who are pregnant and this doesn’t make her any less of a person just because she happens to be a celebrity. And what about her role models? Her mother and sister aren’t exactly what you call the perfect example of women. She only knows what she sees. Now that she is pregnant, hopefully young ladies will see all of the ridicule and criticism she is enduring right now and they will think twice about have sex so young. She probably will influence them not to follow in her footsteps. Lets not bash her for getting pregnant but support her for the decisions that she has made to keep her child and let her mother raise he or she. We may not agree however, the proof is in the pudding people! What is done is done and no one should judge her becuase as I once said she is human and I am pretty sure she will not be the last teen to become pregnant. While some of us are worried about what she is doing and whom she is having sex with, some of us need to be wondering what our teenage children are doing…

hellloooo…don’t you realize, Lynn, that taking the responsability of a new born baby away from jamie will only make it seem ok for her to do it again…taking the problem away from her wont teach her any lesson and ive heard before that people think the pregnancy will be enough of a lesson for her…F.Y.I it wont… the pregnany lasts 9 months the child is forever…sure she is a teenager but she also made an adult decision messing around with her boyfriend who is too old for her anyway…think about that

what kind of lesson is it for jamie taking the responsablility away from her…i cant beleave Lynn would take the baby just so Jamie Lynn can continue living a normal teenage life and keep up her career…those things should have been taken into considerantion before desiding to to mess around with her boyfriend and taking the chance of getting pregnant…duhhhh

this isnt about her being nice or not nice. its a matter that she is only young and she needs to have time to be a kid and do what she wants. Yes, she shouldnt have had sex if she wasnt going to take on the responsibitlys that come with it but what she is doing; giving it to her mom will still allow her to be with her child and its alot better than getting an abortion.

It seems like poor Jamie Lynn is being pressured by her mom to give up her baby. Her mom couldn’t handle her other children, what makes her think she won’t screw up her grandchild? Jamie Lynn maybe young, but there is no reason she shouldn’t be able to raise her own child. It’s not like she has money issues or lack of a career. She’s a lot more stable than many teens her age and even more so than her much older sister. I hope she tells her mom to shove it and keeps the baby.

you know what… i am very indifferent to this whole situation,
1. At least jamie didnt have an abortion
2. she is doing the right thing, she cant do this alone so she is giving her baby to someone who can. i think lynn is very special for taking on that responsibility.
3. i agree jamie shouldnt have opened her legs in the first place it is her fault.
4. at least she is thinking about the baby… even if it is just for her own career she wants what is best for her baby, at least she isnt being like her slutty sister who just doesnt care and just thinks about her career.. Britney doesnt care about her sons or she would have let K-Fed take them in the first place… so kudos to you jamie for thinking about your kids

Oh my god, leave the Spears sisters alone. It’s their life, they can do what they want. Jamie is doing the right thing by giving up her baby because then she can continue with her carrer and all that. So, i think everyone needs to shut their mouths about it. I love Jamie Lynn, yeah she made a mistake, but hey, everyone makes mistakes. GET OVER IT.
