Jared Leto Breaks Nose In Concert

For those who don’t like Jared Leto and his band (that means you, Frodo Baggins), here’s some news that would make you wish you were there to see it happen.

The mascara-sporting so-so actor turned so-so emo-looking frontman of alternative rock band 30 Seconds To Mars reportedly broke his nose and sustained other injuries during a gig at the Taste of Chaos tour stop in El Paso, Texas.

According to a spokesperson for the band’s record label, Leto was injured when he ran into the crowd during “The Kill” and thousands of fans overpowered security and rushed toward him on the floor of County Coliseum. [Source]

On top of a broken nose, Leto’s foot, face and body also sustained injuries, albeit superficial ones.

Surprisingly enough, Leto didn’t whine about it like he usually does and finished the show. He, however, checked into a hospital afterwards to check if any of his other appendages are missing. Unfortunately, none were.

Of course, he was inviting disaster singing lyrics like “Come break me down (bury me, bury me…)”. The crowd just took him up on his offer and broke his nose. He’s lucky they didn’t break anything else.

I wonder if Elijah Wood was part of that crowd…
