JLo And Marc Anthony Sue Tabloid
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are suing the pants off The National Enquirer for publishing an article in its U.S. and international editions that claims the couple was involved in a drug scandal.
On top of a six-figure settlement, they are also asking for an apology and a retraction of the story, which said they were “caught up in a heroin scandal” and then tied the whole thing up with a picture of Anthony standing next to a photographer named Michael Star, a man charged in the U.S. with heroin possession and child pr0n.
However the story went, whether the tabloid said Marc Anthony uses or deals, I wouldn’t really blame them. I mean, just take one look at him and tell me you won’t dial 911 when you see him standing on the sidewalk in front of your apartment. He may not be a user or a dealer, but he sure as hell looks like one.
