Jennifer’s Body Bombed!
Yesterday, we gave you the Weekend Box Office Results and with all the talking and promoting Megan did… her movie still failed! Looks aren’t everything! The movie only made $6.8 million and came in at #5! Animated pic Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs topped the movie charts at #1 with a strong $30 million debut! In contrast, not even the purported female dream team of Megan Fox and writer Diablo Cody could save Jennifer’s Body from a glut of horror movies in theaters, grossing only $6.8 million, a tad better then last weekend’s disappointing $5 million opener of Sorority Row.

I saw this movie online and watched it for free. IDK why anyone would bother to goto the movies for you run of the mill flick, which is just what this is. The reason I didn’t like it had noting to do with Megan fox or any of the other teenage actors. The movie was just dumb. I read a review saying that Americans are dumb when it comes to comedy/horror. Sorry, nope. That’s not it. I get that horror can be funny but this movie wasn’t funny or horrifying it was just predictable and dull. Meggan fox is the pretty girl who looks like a b*tch. The cute blonde chick gets some glasses slapped on her and is supposed to be ‘not as hot as jennifer’, and therefor the good guy… blah blah blah…. an hour later after everything being cliche and nothing really making any sense the nice girl gets revenge and jennifer dies. Wow! What crap! The only people I could see liking this flick would be S&M lesbians. The guys are all sensitive and vulnerable and get their dicks bit off. Everyone else in the flick is stupid, including the hero chick. I also read that it was the R rating that kept teens out of the highschool themed flick. Nothing stopped me from seeing R rated films when I was 13. I doubt kids today are much different. Trust me, if they can get pot they can get into an R rate movie. This movie just sucked and was slightly annoying overall. Megan Fox was brought in as a last ditch effort to save this train wreck and get some hard up guys to watch the film, and even that didn’t work…. so there you have it.
