Jessica Alba Gets Tough Love From Felicity Huffman
In a desperate bid to pick up at least a bit of knowledge on how to act in front of the cameras, Jessica Alba took some pretty intense acting lessons from none other than Emmy-winning Desperate Housewife Felicity Huffman. And boy, was it ever intense.
Alba tells Page Six that she got some really tough love from the veteran actress all throughout the six-week, six-hours-a-day acting course that she conducted with husband William H. Macy, no acting slouch himself.
“Felicity was very hard on me. She’s a tough cookie, that one.”
“I just remember her making me cry because I didn’t prepare a scene right, or I didn’t talk loud enough,” Alba recalled.
No offense to Felicity Huffman and Bill Macy, but I don’t think a six-week, six-hours-a-day acting class for someone as wooden as Jessica Alba will ever be enough. Come to think of it, even a 4-year course in acting couldn’t do wonders for her. It’s just a fact of nature. Much like the same way the couple did not depend on beauty to make it in Hollywood, Jessica did not depend on talent when she made her name. She’s got one of the hottest bodies in the business alright, but that’s pretty much it.
