Jessica Simpson Doesn’t Understand Concept of 9 to 5
Um, here’s the thing – you can’t be a part of the Kennedy Center Honors and withdraw from the televised version of the show. I don’t give an eff how badly you effed up – botched or not, you’ve gotta be committed. And by “you” I mean “Jessica Simpson.” Ms. Simpson is requesting that her performance be deleted from the televised version of the Kennedy blah blah blah because she had a wardrobe malfunction/talent malfunction. People Magazine reports:
Unhappy with her attempt to pay tribute to honoree Dolly Parton with a rendition of the country legend’s hit song “9 to 5,” Simpson has withdrawn from the program, which was filmed Dec. 3.
Uh, yeah. Well, the problem with this is that her performance has already been all over the TV and the internet. Um, can we all say “moron,” y’all? [Source]
