Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet Help ‘Titanic’ Survivor
Leornardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have decided to help the Titanic’s last surviver, Millvina Dean. According to the AP,
Dean was 2 months old when the Titanic sank beneath the waves on the night of April 14, 1912. She has been living at a nursing home in the English city of Southampton since she broke her hip about three years ago but has struggled to pay the fees.
She has had to sell several Titanic mementos to pay her living expenses. DiCaprio and Winslet have put money in a fund to subsidize Dean’s nursing home fees. This was a very nice gesture of them to help Millvina Dean.
