Lohan gets role on “Ugly Betty”
According to a source on the set of “Ugly Betty”,
Lindsay Lohan
has accepted the role a fallen beauty queen who takes a gig as the assistant manager of the fast food chain where Betty’s dad works.
“Everyone’s very excited,” the source said. “Of course it brings a lot of attention to the show, and it’s a great part for Lindsay.”
“It sounds really cute. Betty tries to help Lindsay’s character by getting her a job at Mode, the fashion magazine where she works on the show.”
Ironically, it was Ugly Betty star
America Ferrera
who was quoted last month saying Hollywood’s out-of-control young things should stop partying and “get a job.”
