Mandy Moore Struggled With Depression

Mandy Moore, sweet, sweet Mandy Moore who allowed an annoying sitcom character to pop her cherry, has admitted to struggling with bouts of depression in the past. And for someone who claims to be a glass half-full kind of person, that revelation says quite a lot.

Moore, in an interview with Jane magazine, said she felt “really low, really sad” for no apparent reason, People reported.

“I’m a very positive person, and I’ve always been glass-half-full. So it was like someone flipped a switch in me,” Moore said in the interview.

Moore said her breakup last year with “Scrubs” star Zach Braff — who also admitted to suffering from mild depression — did not trigger her depression, but may have aggravated it. She did not say what may have caused it. [Source]

Let me tell you what caused it: She probably kept on asking herself “why, oh why, does my statuesque, gorgeous self end up dating scumbags like Wilmer Valderrama and geeks like Zach Braff? I should have stuck it out with that hunk of a tennis pro and I’d probably be happier” or something along those lines.

But then again, Mandy’s taste in men brings hope to millions of men around the world, that someone who looks like Zach Braff could get the chance to get freaky with someone who looks like Mandy Moore. But then, what does that matter when she’s rumored to be back together with virginity bandit Fez?
