NBC Will Fire 700 People
NBC is feeling the heat of everybody else who is doing really really well while they, unfortch, are not doing really really well. I mean, Studio 60 may be getting Jessica Simpson as a guest star, but I don’t know if that is enough. Anyhooo, the peacock is saying that by the end of 2008 they will be cutting something like $750 million from their budget and firing 700 somethin’ peeps. Please, oh please, let one of them be Carson Daly. [Source]
