Orlando Bloom Gave Stalker Some Love
We all assume that all celebrity stalkers are nuts. I mean, we have to, right? What we didn’t realize is that some of the celebrities being stalked are actually much weirder than their stalkers.
Case in point:
Orlando Bloom
, who tells
Gotham Magazine
that he once had an encounter with a fuming mad female stalker who managed to break into his hotel room. Instead of calling security or at least getting his hands on anything that he could bash the stalker’s head in with, he gave her one big hug and apologized.
Bloom said he felt better when all the hugging and small talk was done, and that he now understands stalkers.“To be honest, I don’t want to share this with you because if I were that person reading this, I’d feel so embarrassed. She got kind of aggressive with me and was really angry. She was like, ‘I’ve been at every premiere and you never say hello.’ And it was funny, I felt really upset. I felt bad for her. So I turned around and went over to her and just gave her a hug and said, ‘It’s cool. I’m sorry you feel let down or disappointed. But the nature of my life is I can’t necessarily stop every time, and it’s not because I don’t want to.’”
Awww, how sweet. How inspiring…for stalkers everywhere. But then again, not all celebs are like Bloom. Let’s wait for a stalker to pull something like that on someone like
Sean Penn
and see if he or she gets her ass kicked or not. Photographers, of course, already know better than to do something that stupid.

What the heck?! I mean, yeah, he handled that well by being assertive but he REALLY have to hug her?!? That’s going to make her even more obssessed. God she’s weird!! I would’ve called security in a second, not even!
