Paris Hilton fights elephant alcoholism
Paris Hilton is leading the charge to stop elephants from killing themselves after consuming alcohol. (No, I’m not making this up!)
After learning that 40 elephants were electrocuted after drinking rice-beer, which is brewed by locals in India, Paris is urging residents to lock up their booze.
“There would have been more casualties if the villagers hadn’t chased them away. And four elephants died in a similar way three years ago. It is just so sad. The biggest problems are in Assam and Meghalaya. The elephants get drunk all the time. It is becoming really dangerous. We need to stop making alcohol available to them.”

Does this mean that the major beer manufacturers will be jumping on this and producing non-alcohol beer especially for elephants?
From a different perspective, how much beer or booze does it take to get an elephant drunk? How much booze are the local residents leaving unlocked? Does anyone realize how many bottles of booze it probably takes to get a full-sized elephant drunk?
