Plan to kill Hannah Montana foiled
A 16-year-old boy was arrested for planning to hijack a plane and crash it into a Hannah Montana concert.
Hey, I’m no fan either, but that’s a bit extreme.
The FBI said, “His stated intent was to hijack the airplane and commit suicide. He did indicate he intended to die in Louisiana. It appears he had a ticket to Louisiana.”
In his bag they found handcuffs, duct tape and yarn.

a Miley Cyrus concert. Two CNN television
affiliates in Nashville, Tenn., WSMV and WTVF,
broadcast that a teen from Novato, Calif., plotted
to hijack a plane and fly it in to Miley’s concert at
Louisiana’s Lafayette Cajundome. But Hannah Montana
fans needn’t have worried. Althought a boy was taken into
custody at Nashville International Airport and charged
with terrorism, George Bolds, and FBI spokesman in Memphis,
said that Miley’s concert was never his target. In fact, Miley’s show
was actually scheduled for January 25 - three days agter the boy’s
arrest.

This is to doglover and Summer: In reality, this may be why some people don’t respect 12 year olds. Both of you getting so mad about a single persons comment is kinda ridiculous if you ask me. And the fact that Summer kept swearing in his/her reply makes it kinda look like he/she want’s to aggressively protect Hannah Montana. She’s a rather mean person (as I have heard from peole, please correct me IF I am wrong about this) and saying that Timmah has no talent or success seems very mean. But on a positive note, doglover did show a Christian side of view which i am very proud to see. I have nothing against 12 year olds but I don’t like Hannah montana (but that’s because I hate Disney Channel in general.

ok im gonna have to go with timmah. the only reason shes famous is cause her dads a big country star. in the real world, with a singing voice as bad as that, she couldnt get a gig at a local bar.
oh, and summer, fyi, the fact that yer 12 and u like her kinda proves his point, so, ya…

yes, thats true. but is it okay for little kids to like her? i mean, even her fans have got to admit that she hasnt been a very good role model lately. along with vannsessa hudgens, jamie lynn spears, and a whole bunch of other celebrities that kids look up to. lets face the facts guys, child entertainment has gone down the crapper.

While you got me there. Despite the fact that she is not a good role model, she is entertaining the kids. And that is one of her jobs.
Then again, so do most child role models. Let’s face it. This is why a decent amount of children are learning about things like drugs.
A good portion of them have internet. They just search her up, they see something involving a drug. The child asks a person they don’t know about it, tries it, and becomes a user.
That’s the way the world is.

the worst thing about this is, its more the parents fault than the kids.
think about it. a kid with parents who dont pay all that much attention to the child interests is more likely to mimic these celebrities’ actions than a child with parents who do.
all the parents have to do is keep tabs on who their children look up to. if these people do something like drive drunk or do drugs, they can talk to their kids about it.
oh, and just to point this out, i dont think that bad about vannessa hudgens. all things considered, she didnt do anything wrong. those pictures were meant to be private.
the person i have the most beef with is jamie lynn. i mean, getting pregnant is one thing. but talking about wut a great experience child birth is? that brings her bad role modeling to a whole new level.

I agree with that completely.
Parents should watch over what their children watch. And not just use the V-Chip, but actually watch it with their kids.
But they should not condemn them for what is shown on the show. They should condemn the actors who are these kids role models.
And the part about jamie lynn spears is something i redefined agree with. She was only 16, and she got pregnant and said that child birth and raising a kid was a good experience. So i imagine that this is telling all kinds of kids to go out and have babies.
That’s just wrong. Just wrong… The fact that she had kids, but not in the literal sense.

No, see, you are not thinking the same way as us. Yes, I hate her songs, but that’s just my opinion. Little girls like her music, because her music is meant for them. Saying you hate Miley Cyrus is like saying you hate the Wiggles. Nobody older than, say, 7 is gonna like them, including you. But that’s because you’re too mature for them. If the Wiggles music was meant for teenagers, then I would hate them. So if you’re not going to think like that, then leave this conversation.
