RIP America’s Little Mermaid
Shiloh Pepin, affectionately known to the public as Mermaid Girl, passed away at the age of 10.
Shiloh was born with a condition called sirenomelia. She was born with her legs fused together with no lower colon, genital organs and only one barely working kidney.
After her appearances on TLC and The Oprah Winfrey Show, she become a media darling. Her resilience and bravery captured the hearts of all who watched her.
We are all in mourning for this little soul. But we also take comfort in knowing that her suffering has ceased.

thats very sad that she has passed away so soon..
she brought joy and laughter to friends and family and people she came across with..
but it is also a relief that she is no longer suffering from her deficiency.that all the pain and agony is over…
wherever she may be i’m sure she is happy. she may had lived short but she was filled with love and lived well..
my thoughts and prayers… may you rest in peace now engulfed in God’s embrace…
