Rob Lowe Gets a Birdie…Actually Kills It
Rob Lowe got a birdie — the state bird, in fact. While playing at the Principal Charity Classic Pro-Am, he hit an approach shot on the fourth hole when his ball hit a goldfinch — the Iowa state bird.
As the rest of the players in his group broke out in laughter and applause, the actor raised his arms in mock celebration.
“That’s my birdie,” Lowe said as the bird lay motionless on the ground.
“That’s unbelievable. Who comes here and kills the state bird? Only me.”

That is the most disgusting thing I have ever read. To hear that some well known, supposedly well bred person can have such little disrespect for life makes me sick. Animal or human, life is life.
