Rose McGowan Casts Spell On Robert Rodriguez
Grindhouse director Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan had been carrying on an affair, his wife of 16 years, Elizabeth Avellan, found out about it, all the resulting drama shut down production of the movie for a month, and now that marriage has gone to shit.
And I thought Rose only played a spell-casting witch on TV. Too bad she couldn’t cast a secrecy spell on the whole thing.
“It was the worst-kept secret on the set. They were going off to his trailer, having meals together,” our source said. “Rose thought some of the crew were treating her differently, and the attitude was, like, well what do you expect when you’re [bleeping] the director?”
She and Rodriguez first met at Cannes in 2005. But until now the consequences of their shenanigans weren’t fully known. When the director “fell in love with his femme-fatale star . . . he broke up his marriage of 16 years . . . The production had to shut down for a month while he recovered,” Variety reports.
A source told Page Six, “When Elizabeth found out, there was an eruption of emotions - an emotional volcano.” [Source]
Rodriguez has five kids with Avellan, who also happens to have co-produced Grindhouse and most of her husband’s movies. And he left them all so he can keep on boinking his leading lady. Robert sure does know how to enjoy the perks of being the director. But how long is this gonna last? We’re talking about Rose McGowan here, so you know the answer to that as well as I do.
This sure is one sick way of promoting a movie that’s about to open this weekend.

This is a bunch of BS. It’s just the media being bored so they decide to make up RUMORS…..I’m not gonna believe any of this bullshit until either of the parties confirm it.

It is 100% true. I worked on production for Planet Terror and it shut down for a month when Elizabeth Avellan found out.

all the sites are asying its true but there are a select few that are saying that they were already splitting up before grindhouse. personally I feel bad for rose shes one of my fav actresses and people are being so shitty. really let them do what they want people holly hell.

He was married to a real woman, not moviestar looks. Rose got ditched in a cruel way when she dated Manson. I hate how she looks so smug in all her photos after stealing another woman’s man and no regards to his children. Maybe it is all the botox she has had. Anyways, 16 years of marriage would be touch on any couple in the limelight, especially when the guy is hot and the wife not so hot. But can you blame her oebsity after all the kids she had?
